I was so much in awe when the first sample of my first bag design arrived in a well packed UPS box - it came all the way from CEBU Philippines, where the manufacturing company gave me the chance to work with their product development group to materialize the bag that I always wanted to do as part of Handmade LTd bag lines.
I believe that creating a bag made of indigenous materials that are found and from the Philippines is quite awesome - knowing that the market where I am trying to reach out, craves for unique, earthy, and one-of-a-kind accessories.
I launched the bag in a private event held at the Fairy Land Mountain Resort and Golf Club where members can enjoy their wine, dinner, socializing and shopping to the few selected vendors in town that can offer them unique stuff that can't be found in Department Stores. It turned out to be quite successful and we got some order from a Specialty Retailer who is now carrying the purses in Chattanooga downtown area.
